INDOOR GIRLS' OPEN GYMS & TRYOUTS
Red Rock Volleyball Club will be holding tryouts for a 14U team based in Pleasanton.
Pleasanton tryout related events, including tryouts, will take place at our Walnut Creek facilities below to provide a top-tier training experience by combining coaching expertise, athlete energy, and resources from both locations. Pleasanton and Walnut Creek staff will be on site throughout the events.

COACHING STAFF
TED BABU: Coach
Ted has a passion for working with young volleyball players to improve their skills. He has coached teams from junior high to high school to club and assisted at Cal State East Bay. Currently, he’s the Owner of Club VIP Volleyball Programs, running recreational and competitive programs in 6 cities. His focus is helping players achieve their goals, a goal he’s accomplished since 1997 and has been pursuing with Club VIP running Club V.I.P. since 2003.
OLIVIA BABU: Coach
Olivia Babu commenced her coaching career in 2023 by assisting the Red Rock 14 two team. Initially, she focused on data collection. Subsequently, after the season concluded, she transitioned to working with youth players in recreational settings for Club V.I.P. Currently, Babu is diligently honing her coaching skills and expanding her knowledge base to enhance her abilities as a youth coach. She embodies a strong sense of passion and dedication to guiding young players as they navigate their volleyball journey.

Practices 2-3x per week
Tournaments average 1-2x per month (January-May)
The total club fee will depend on the type of team and the amount of travel involved
The club fee for the Pleasanton 14U team is $7,395*

Athletes are consistently pushed to learn, adapt, work hard, work together, and compete. We develop and train the individual to get to their respective next level while working in a team environment toward team goals.
COLLEGE RECRUITING
Help players navigate through the recruiting process and help promote players to college coaches and universities, help with recruiting video, and help players create their college profile webpage.
PRACTICES
Practices 2-3x a week
There will be a range of different possibilities for practice days, times, and locations. Every team/player should be available for:
1. Days - Practice days on any and all days of the week.
2. Times - Practices Mon-Fri will range between 5:00pm-9:45pm. Sat-Sun 9:30am-9:30pm.
3. Locations - Teams mainly practice in Martinez.
CLUB SEASON (6-7 months)
The season runs early November to May/June/July. Teams that qualify for Junior Nationals or have a post-season may extend their season as far as July.
