Halsey has coached for Kai Beach and is in her first season coaching at Red Rock. She has over 4 years of indoor coaching experience and 3 years of beach coaching experience. For the past two years she has head coached middle and high school beach volleyball at Northwest Elite Volleyball Club in Oregon.

Halsey Brumitt was born in Oregon and played indoor and beach volleyball growing up. In high school she played for Athena Volleyball Academy in Beaverton, Oregon. During her indoor career she was on the All American Watchlist, was All State, and has the state record for kills in a game during her senior season. She currently competes as a NCAA Division 1 athlete in beach volleyball at Saint Mary’s College and is going into her junior year. She is working on her Bachelor of Science in Biology and is studying for medical school.
