Cherisse Dimalanta

Cherisse is a Bay Area native and started playing volleyball at 10 years old. She has played over 6 seasons of club volleyball around the Bay Area, at American Canyon High School, and Hawaii Pacific University. Cherisse was the assistant coach at her local middle school volleyball camps for 4 years, coached at Bay Area Volleyball Club for over a year assisting their Spring and Summer Beginner-Intermediate camps, and was the assistant coach for the 15/16 Premier team last season.  Last season was her first season with Red Rock where she was the assistant for the 13-1 team. 


During her high school volleyball career at American Canyon High School, she was a setter, DS, and outside hitter. Cherisse attended USAV’s High-Performance A3 camp in 2017 as a setter and was a three-year varsity starting setter and co-captain for two years. She held school records for career aces, was awarded All-League, a Player of the Year Finalist, and was voted Most Valuable Setter of the Year in the Solano County Athletic Conference. She was also American Canyon High School’s first volleyball college recruit to a four-year University where she played D2 as a DS/Libero at Hawaii Pacific University.


Cherisse just finished up her senior year of college studying Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Psychology.
