Amanda is joining Red Rock for her 3rd season of coaching club volleyball. By joining Red Rock Volleyball, the Berkeley, CA native continues her 15-year journey as a coach all-together. After graduating from Albany High School, she began her collegiate volleyball career at Laney College.  During her two years there, she was a two-time First Team All-Conference player and was awarded Best Defensive Player and MVP.  She completed her college career overseas playing for the University of Galway in Ireland where she was awarded Best Defensive Player by the Irish Volleyball Association.

About coaching, Amanda says “My goal is to bring out the best in each player by creating an environment that cultivates high self-esteem. I want the players to approach life like they approach the court--with great confidence. It is my duty as a coach to help athletes overcome their fears that often deteriorates the building blocks of their success.  My goal is to empower my players to believe in themselves and for them to see that on the other side of fear is their wildest dream achieved.“
