Alissa’s volleyball career began at the age of eleven as a DS/Libero where her team earned a national bid to GJNC in New Orleans, Louisiana. She continued her career through 18s as a DS/Libero and Setter.  During her 15s season, Alissa’s team placed 2nd at Triple Crown Women’s NIT in Salt Lake City, Utah. At AAU Nationals in Florida, Alissa’s 15s team finished 5th place in the Open division, finishing the season as the highest nationally ranked 15s team in NCVA and being ranked #45 of 80 in PrepVolleyball’s Final National 15s Club Rankings. She was also given the Most Hustle Award. The following year, Alissa’s 16s team was ranked #48 on PrepVolleyball’s Pre-Season National Club Rankings. In February of that season they were ranked #52. Alissa was named Most Resilient for her 16s team. After earning honorable mention in PrepVolleyball’s 16-year-old Club Volleyball Teams in the Country, Alissa’s team attended Girls AAU Nationals in Florida and won the Crystal Division. Alissa’s 17s year was cut short due to the COVID pandemic. Still in masks her 18s year, Alissa’s team made it to 18s Girls Nationals in Columbus, Ohio.


Alissa prepped at St. Patrick - St. Vincent High School, where she played her freshman year on JV as a setter, captain, MVP, and later pulled up to varsity for playoffs. The next three years, she set on her varsity team. After her sophomore year, her team was named Tri-County Athletic League Champions in the Rock Division.


After graduating high school in 2021, Alissa continued her education at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. After a year and a half in Utah, she decided to move home and attend Diablo Valley College. Alissa hopes to transfer to a state school next fall pursuing a degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice.


As a coach, Alissa worked co-ed camps at St. Patrick - St. Vincent High School for ages 8-17. She also started coaching summer camps for middle and high schoolers at Xcel after graduating high school. After her first year of college, she went back to work summer camps and continued coaching camps/clinics and other lessons during the spring time. While her coaching experience is short on paper, her extensive knowledge of volleyball and playing experience carries over to make her a successful coach.
