Kayla Somontan has nine years of experience as a competitive volleyball setter. She began her collegiate sports career at Solano Community College, where she played one year and was named to the All-BVC First Team. She attended Simpson University for the remainder of her college career, where she was recognized with the Champions of Character honor in 2022 and the Second Team All Conference award in 2023. Kayla was a former coach at Vacaville Extreme, and this will be her first year at Red Rock.
