This will be Joy's second season with Red Rock.

For five years she was an assistant coach for the Benicia Middle School girls' volleyball team. She has been the 6th/7th grade girls head coach and boys assistant coach.

Joy started playing volleyball when she was 11 years old, playing for both her middle school and high school teams as well as 7 years of club volleyball. During her high school career, she played as a setter and DS. And during her time at Cal Poly SLO, she continued to play recreationally on intramural teams.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, watching movies, and traveling.
